Lead Teacher for Pre-K3/4 Class (Part time hours) 
CHLG seeks a fun, organized and energetic teacher to join our preschool teaching team.  Successful candidates will have experience planning lessons and leading a preschool classroom (excellent classroom management skills a must).  We seek serious Christian candidates who are interested in integrating the Christian worldview into daily programming and in working closely with parents and other teachers.  This staff member will work with 3.5-4 year olds three mornings a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; teacher's hours are 8:30-1:00).  Annual salary is between $14,000-$15,000 depending on education and experience.  
Job Requirements
Candidates should identify as Christians and be capable of integrating the Christian worldview into daily programming (prior to consideration, candidates must affirm that CHLG's Doctrinal and Positional Statements are consistent with their personal beliefs).  Successful candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child and Family Studies, Child Development or Special Education.  A candidate with a Liberal Arts degree who also holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or a candidate with a Psychology or Social Work degree who has preschool teaching experience would also be considered.   Please leave your information via our contact tab if you're interested in applying for this position. 

About The Preschool (2.5 to 5) and The Hybrid Academy (K-6th) at Capitol Hill Learning Group
Capitol Hill Learning Group (CHLG) operates as a teacher led/ parent assisted micro-school community, with participating families volunteering both in and outside the classroom.  Our class sizes are small (no more than 10 children per class) and our teachers are valued for their leadership and knowledge and for the special part they play in our very close knit community. ​

Substitutes for Preschool and/or Hybrid Academy Classes
CHLG seeks candidates who have experience teaching or assisting with preschool and/or school aged children who would be interested in being added to our list of available substitutes.  We need substitutes for both lead teachers and for classroom assistant positions, and you can specify which ages and situations you would be comfortable with.  Subs are paid $90 for a morning of work (8:30-1:00).   Please leave your information via our contact tab if you're interested in applying to be a substitute.
